This is the small size 10"x14" puzzle.

Here it is put together. The image was inspired by the 

film "Frankenstein meets the Wolfman" (1943).

I love that the guy on the table has a pool of blood

under his head and there is a giant hypodermic needle

laying there. Little kids were not snowflakes in the early 60's.

The Tomland Yeti Figure Is Ernest Borgnine???

So.....

I just learned that the head sculpt for the

Tomland Abomindable Snowman/Yeti was

based on a character that Ernest Borgnine

played in a 1975 movie called

"The Devil's Rain".

Now every time i look at that figure i see this...

W.....T.....F???!!!

AHI Frankenstein - Flat Palmed Variant

This is the "Flat Palmed" variant,

also referred to as "Type A".
The hands face out rather than to the side of the body.

This variant has a hard rubber head 

whereas the others have a squishy head.

I am completely obsessed with AHI Frankenstein figures

and have many variants that will be seen in future posts.

This variant is sometimes referred to as "hands to the side"

or "Type B". AHI never made an official designation for these 

figures, so it is left to collector interpretation.
