Pete McKee - This is LoL and Woody

This is LoL and Woody Art Figures
Pete McKee/Warp Films (2015)
10 1/2 inches tall

I have been tempted by designer art toys
for a while now and this one sucked me in.
Based on characters from one of my
favorite movies "This is England".
Pete McKee is a prolific Pop Culture
artist from England. This set was
limited to 500 pieces and is extremely rare.

Vintage Frankenstein Flashlight

Frankenstein Flashlight
Halco (1960's)
10 inches tall

He has "Flickr" eyes that move as
you look at them from different directions.
The light blinks on and off and makes
the blow molded head glow eerily.
This is what all the cool kids had
when they were trick-or-treating in the 60's.

Jack In The Box - Universal Monsters Set

Universal Monsters Kids Meal Set
Jack In The Box (1999)

This is another very well done set
of happy meal toys. Jack-in-the-Crack
was trying to give Burger King
some healthy competition.

Geometric Designs Creature Resin Kit

Creature From The Black Lagoon
Geometric Designs (2004)
1/8th Scale

So amazing!!!
Sculpted by the talented James Groman.

This is an extremely difficult kit to build.
Creech is only supported by his left hand
and tip of the claw on the right foot.
I actually had the glue come loose on the hand
and he toppled off of a shelf from about
five feet of height. Both feet and most of the claws
broke off. I had to re-attach the feet and re-sculpt
the claws out of epoxy clay. After that lesson
i decided to drill a hole in the left palm and top
of the log where i inserted a steel pin as a key
to lock the two pieces together and prevent
the same scenario from repeating itself.
