 Phantom of the Opera Figure

I got this Phantom figure from a prolific monster

toy collector named Freddie Poe of the famed

"House of Poe" collection. It is a prototype molded

in a "steel blue" color. Freddie acquired it from

a guy named Peter Fritz who was the foremost

expert on Marx toys. When the last Marx factory

closed it's doors in 1980 Peter bought a ton of 

stuff from the people doing the clear-out of the

factory, and got his hands on many prototypes 

and other rarities. Peter sadly passed away in 2017.

The last pic shows it next to an original

"teal blue" figure. Note the crisp detail of

the "steel blue" figure. This is the only one

of these known to exist. I am extremely 

honored to own such an awesome piece

 of Freddie Poe's amazing collection!!!
