There is a lot of controversy about
this VHS. In 2013 Charles Band
(owner of Wizard Video) claimed
that after 33 years they found a
supply of original VHS boxes in
their warehouse. So Wizard did
a limited edition release of newly
mastered tapes in the original 80's
boxes. The VHS collecting community
started to do comparisons with true
originals and found that there were
many differences between the two
and felt that Band was trying to
fleece collectors. I am happy to
own this tape, it's another piece of
collecting history and memorabilia.
Plus, it's still a Wizard Video release!!
The box was signed by composer
Fabio Frizzi at Beyond Fest in 2016.
